TECHNICAL LIBRARY stores a unique collection of road and transport documents, totally about 44 thousand publications, of which - 25 thous. books, about 3 thous. periodicals and 16 thous. normative documents in Lithuanian, Russian, English and German languages.

The library has the newest normative materials in the field of road and bridge design, construction and maintenance, environmental protection, work safety, these are: Lithuanian Standards (LST), the standards of the International Standardization Organization (ISO) and European Standards (EN), also the newest work acceptance norms and regulations (ST), recommendations (R), Construction Technical Regulations (STR), Norms and Regulations of Environmental Protection (LAND), Hygienic Norms (HN), etc.

The archives also store the norms and regulations of the former USSR (SNiP, SN, VSN, ENiR).

The library funds has a plenty of scientific-research work reports, conference materials, technical journals from Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Germany, United States, other the road organizations.

Information is held in a traditional (paper) and electronic form. A computerized data base stores the catalogues of books, normative documents, archival and periodical publications.
